We believe that God is opening a door for us to expand our faith and our mission in this region. For the first time in our history, we may have an opportunity to own property.
Of course, the most important building is not made with steel and other materials, but with people. As Paul describes in his letter to the Ephesians all of us together are God’s temple.
But still, physical property can have an important role in the spread of the Good News. Physical property provides a place for the church to gather, be equipped and mobilize and is a powerful symbol to the community that God is in their midst and can be found.
Our goals for purchasing our own property is simple:
- We need more space so that we can make room for growth. We are close to maxing out our current facilities and if we are going to be faithful to our mission, we must make room for growth.
- We want to reduce the amount of money we spend on facilities so that we can re-direct more funds towards expanding our mission with additional staff and more missions.
- We would like facilities that better enable us to serve our local community
