Every parent I know wants the very best for their kids. We love our kids and hope they will prosper as a person and in every area of life. But let's be honest, loving our kids well and helping them become the best version of themselves is a tremendous challenge. Given the challenges we face in life and the growing challenges our children must face, parenting can become stressful despite the joys we experience. This workshop is designed to share some tips, strategies and lessons that will help you find even more joy in parenting and increase your effectiveness in giving your kids opportunities to succeed in the world they must live in.

LOCATION: The River, 384 Merrow Road, Tolland, CT

PRESENTER: Weston Brooks and his wife Karen have been married 31 years, raised 4 children and now have 2 grand children. Weston spent 15 years in the financial services and investment field as an analyst, a consultant, a presenter, and a leader. Since 2005 he has been the senior pastor of The River, a diverse and growing congregation of young families and people of all ages in Tolland, CT. Weston and Karen have 15 years of marriage and family coaching experience and have helped many parents, single parents and teachers learn simple yet effective skills to better connect with children and teens.

COST: $40 (includes registration for your spouse if attending) before May 28th. $50 after May 28th. 

Optional box lunch (Saturday) available for $12.  Optional childcare available at additional cost.
